2014 EMERSON BROWN “NAPA VALLEY” CABERNET SAUVIGNON
$49.99 $49.99
A beautiful statement for Cabernet Sauvignon, and realistically priced by Napa Valley standards, the previous vintage of this classic Napa Cabernet earned a 94 Point rating from Robert Parker. Crafted by one of the most talented young Cabernet-making duos in Napa Valley; Keith Emerson runs the show at Vineyard 29 in St. Helena, fashioning 95-97 point beauties from Chuck McMinn’s “Aida” & “Estate” Vineyards… Brian Brown was the winemaker at Round Pond, where he crafted the $100/bottle Reserve Cab that ranks among the greatest Cabs from the iconic Rutherford AVA.
Produced at Vineyard 29’s State-of-the-art winery in St. Helena, with full use of the optical sorter and gravity flow, this first-rate Napa Valley Cabernet has spectacular opulence and beautifully knit flavors of blackberries, black raspberries intermixed with sweet oak, creme de cassis and violets. If you love top-quality Napa Valley Cabernets without the high price tag sometimes associated with them, this one’s definitely for you.

2014 EMERSON BROWN "NAPA VALLEY" CABERNET SAUVIGNON
Winery Notes: "Multiple layers of blue-black fruits that progress from lively entry of boysenberry and cassis to dusty characters of violet and dried lavender. Lengthy and broad on the plate the wine's dark core is complemented by sweet vanillin, clove and toasted almonds from the French oak. Satiny and supple tannins give this wine a long and lingering finish."
