2013 ROBERT CRAIG “AFFINITY” CABERNET SAUVIGNON
Since its debut in the early 1990’s, Robert Craig’s Affinity gained the attention of many of the world’s top wine critics, sommeliers and collectors. In the September 2001 Issue of Decanter titled “Cult Cabernets the Next Generation” Affinity was forecasted as potentially emerging as one of Napa Valley’s next cult Cabernets. The 2013 vintage marks the 20th anniversary release of Affinity… beautifully dispensing a tapestry of attractive blue and black fruits intertwined by supple tannins and reinforced by the wines lovely broad and muscular extraction.
Carved from the La Londe Vineyard nestled in the Mt. George Foothills, South of Stag’s Leap, the 30 year old vines bear fruit of remarkable qualities. Commanding a stellar 94 Point Score from James Suckling, and 93+ from Robert Parker’s The Wine Advocate, the 20th Anniversary Release of this Iconic Napa Valley wine, shouldn’t be missed.
