2013 KAMEN “ESTATE” CABERNET SAUVIGNON
$89.99 $89.99
Positioned on the Sonoma Side of Spring Mountain, inside the newly recognized Moon Mountain AVA, Kamen is producing outrageously impressive Reds. Â Proprietor Robert Kamen is a well known screenwriter who wrote the Karate Kid series, Lethal Weapon, Transporter, and The Sixth Sense, to list a few.
Kamen’s high-elevation Estate vineyards were planted by veteran vineyard manager Phil Coturri whom Sonoma Magazine called “the ubiquitous wizard of sustainable winemaking.” One of wine country’s most sought after grape-growing consultants, Phil’s list of clients include winemakers Andy Erickson and Morgan Twain-Peterson as well as A-list Vineyards Harlan and Araujo. Conquering all the senses, this scrumptious and compelling 100% Cabernet Sauvignon was composed by Mark Herold. Mark is responsible for having crafted some of the greatest wines in California, including Merus, Hestan, Buccella, and his own label Herold. I strongly recommend adding a case of this Blockbuster Sonoma Cabernet to your cellar.

2013 KAMEN "ESTATE" CABERNET SAUVIGNON
From Robert Parker's The Wine Advocate: "Kamen’s 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon is 100% Cabernet Sauvignon, and his biggest cuvée of 1,800 cases. It’s a spectacular Cabernet, dense purple with notes of lead pencil shavings, blackberry, pen ink and cassis followed by a full-bodied, opulent, voluptuously textured wine with sweet tannins, stunning delineation, precision (a characteristic of 2013) and great length and richness. This is a stunner – a fabulous wine and, at this price point, very attractive. It should drink well for 25-30 years. " 96 Parker
