2012 SAILOR'S GRAVE "NAPA VALLEY" PROPRIETARY RED
Winery Notes: "From first glance, the 2012 Sailor's Grave hums with deep and seductive color - inky, dark purple with a subtle ruby tint. The aromas are beguiling from the first inhale - pipe smoke and black cherry, saddle leather and a subtle bass note of richly roasted coffee. In the mouth, the wine reveals its density and weight - layers on layers of juice-dripping blackberries, dark chocolate, syrupy espresso, and a gentle hint of vanilla, all entwined around a core of pure, ripe fruit. The tannins are mouth-filling and substantial - this wine will continue to age and improve for 15 years - but with a finesse that makes this wine something special even it its youth."
