2012 LE PICH “NAPA VALLEY” CABERNET SAUVIGNON
$39.00 $39.00
As the second label for Purlieu, an up-and-coming cult producer whose Cabernets range $95-$200/btl, Le Pich inflicts a seriously high level of quality, without the high price tag that often comes with it. This phenomenal wine is made by Julien Fayard, who learned his craft at Chateau Lafite Rothschild. Julien gained valuable, first-hand experience as Director of Winemaking for Philippe Melka at elite Napa Valley producers like Lail, Gemstone, Hundred Acre, and Vineyard 29.
A constant front runner, Le Pich’s popularity is solely due to its unparalleled suave/polished texture and Classic Napa Valley depth and balance. The 2012 is drinking beautifully right now and could go head-to-head with Napa Cabs at more than double its price. A sleeper of the vintage, there’s not much left of this gorgeous 2012 Napa Cab, and at $39/btl with ground shipping included on ANY mixed 15-pack, I strongly recommend stocking up.

2012 LE PICH "NAPA VALLEY" CABERNET SAUVIGNON
Winery Notes: "Deep, rich purple color. Nose of black fruits, tobacco and violets. Mouthfeel is smooth and dense, with smooth tannins. Flavors of black plum, black fig, blackberries and coffee lead to an long, balanced finish. This wine seriously over performs for its price."
