2012 LANCASTER “ESTATE” CABERNET SAUVIGNON
$49.99 $49.99
This Bordeaux styled blend was produced from a banner year in Sonoma County’s Alexander Valley. In fact, The Wine Spectator’s vintage review for Sonoma County Cabernet Sauvignon lists 2012 as the highest rated vintage on the report, which goes back to 1985. The Lancaster Estate is located on the Southernmost end of Alexander Valley, near Knights Valley and Chalk Hill AVA’s. At $25/btl below retail, this is one of the best Super Saturday Specials that I’ve had all year.
An unforgettable blend encompassing all five of the Bordeaux Varietals. The 2012 is 77% Cabernet Sauvignon and showcases stunning depth and vibrantly complex layers. Sourced from hillside vineyards, the 2012 spent 22 months in oak, then reaped the rewards of nearly 15 months developing in the bottle. I highly recommending securing a case of this upper-echelon Alexander Valley Estate Cabernet Sauvignon.
