2012 KRUTZ “MAGNOLIA” CABERNET SAUVIGNON, NAPA VALLEY
Although not named on the bottle, 100% of the fruit for this value-centered Cabernet Sauvignon has origins in Oakville, an area widely considered the sweet spot for top quality Napa wines. The average price of Cabernet Sauvignons from this coveted AVA is likely upwards of $100 per bottle… At $21.99 Patrick Krutz’s “Magnolia Series” Cabernet represents a striking value.
The blend is dominated by Cabernet Sauvignon at 91% and accented with small amounts of Cabernet Franc and Merlot. After spending 26 months in oak, the flavors are perfectly synchronized, deep and complex. There’s no surprise that an earlier vintage of this terrific Cabernet was voted Editor’s Choice by the Wine Enthusiast…
From a vintage unanimously heralded for its unwavering quality, this delicious Cabernet impresses with its deep, concentrated flavors, and compelling personality. Given its limited production, coupled with the high demand for high quality Cabernets in this favorable price range, I recommend placing your order right away to ensure your best chance acquiring some of this beautiful wine.

2012 KRUTZ "MAGNOLIA" CABERNET SAUVIGNON, NAPA VALLEY
Winemaker's Notes: "Rich, forward and balanced out of the gate. A beautiful display of the lush 2012 vintage. Dark and plush blackberry, black cherry and espresso bean lift forward from the glass. A very viscous and velvet texture on the palate accompany flavors of dark fruit, cedar spice and a bit of mountain sage. Youthful and lovely now but could easily negotiate 5 more years."
