2012 JONES FAMILY “THE SISTERS” CABERNET SAUVIGNON
$84.00 $84.00
Utterly sensational, this wine was crafted by Thomas Rivers Brown, whom you may recognize from Schrader, Revana, Maybach, Gemstone and Outpost. Brown made history as the first American winemaker to receive a perfect 100 Point score from the Wine Spectator, and has had more than a dozen 100 Point wines in his career.

Thomas Brown's Tasting Notes: "The 2012 Jones Family Vineyards The Sisters Cabernet Sauvignon is a multi-layered chorus of aromas and flavor that displays a great sense of harmony. After experiencing the aromatic profile of clove, jasmine, tanned leather, eucalyptus and spiced ripe plum what remains is the purity of the vintage. On the palate deep red fruit and spice notes of black cherry, cassis and cocoa nibs interplay front-to-back and are framed by a dusty earthiness that provides enough structure to this lush, accessible wine. The Sisters is a remarkable wine that consistently over delivers."
From Robert Parker's The Wine Advocate, "The 2012 The Sisters is a beauty. Dense ruby/purple with lots of plum and blackcurrant fruit, the wine is medium-bodied, pure and has a lush, long finish." 91 points

I think Robert Parker describes this wine better than me… “The 2012 The Sisters is a beauty. Dense ruby/purple with lots of plum and blackcurrant fruit, the wine is medium-bodied, pure and has a lush, long finish.” RP
