2010 BERNARD MAGREZ “NAPA VALLEY” CABERNET SAUVIGNON
This wine has focused, powerful intensity and scrumptious texture, that has to be experienced to be believed. Although not named on the bottle, Bernard Magrez’s 2010 Cabernet Sauvignon was sourced exclusively from the iconic Beckstoffer Dr. Crane Vineyard, and was authored by esteemed winemaker Benoit Touquette. Benoit is the same winemaker that crafted the 2012 & 2013 Realm Beckstoffer Dr. Crane Cabernet Sauvignons which both earned perfect 100 Point Scores from Robert Parker and sell for upwards of $450-$500 per bottle.
One of Napa Valley’s most prized vineyards, fruit from Beckstoffer Dr. Crane has gone into single vineyard Cabernets from Paul Hobbs, Realm and Myriad to list a few. Resting for approximately 20 months in oak, this wine of endless depth and towering richness has quietly reaped the benefits of more than 4 years blossoming inside the bottle. With savings of $50/btl off the winery retail, I strongly recommend adding some of this gorgeous Cabernet Sauvignon to your cellar.

Tasting Notes: "This explosive 100% Cabernet Sauvignon sourced exclusively from the Beckstoffer Dr. Crane Vineyard in St. Helena is scrumptious in texture with endless depth and an abundance of dark fruits, wild berry, espresso, cigar box, cherry and black currant fruit. Fine grained tannins and layer after layer of flavors unfold and completely coat the palate. This powerful Cabernet is enjoyable now, and will age well for 10+ years..."
