2009 GUY “NAPA VALLEY” CABERNET SAUVIGNON
Hitting every sweet spot on your palate with Bordeaux-inspired intensity and suave, perfectly developed tannins, this stunning three barrel production Cabernet Sauvignon got my attention at 54% below the winery retail…. And to add to it, the fact that 2/3 of the fruit was sourced from the revered Tourmaline Vineyard in Coombsville, which is owned by Paul Hobbs, and has been a coveted fruit source for icons Cardinale, Merus, Chappellet and Paul Hobbs to list a few… Perfectly ready to be enjoyed now, and with enormous pleasure… this wine also has the structure and balance to go another 5-7 years. At $29.99/btl, this wine delivers $75/btl quality…
A project by Guy Riedel, executive producer for Wedding Crashers, Morning Glory, Couple’s Retreat, Cloverfield, Rocky Balboa and Office Space to list a few, we were thrilled to get in on this tiny 75 case production. After apporixmatly 2 1/2 years in barrel and nearly 5 years of development inside the bottle, this ’09 Cab delivers $75/btl quality at $29.99/btl. If you would like to add some of this micro-produced Napa Valley wine to your cellar, it would be sagacious to place your order right away… At this price, it simply will not last.

2009 GUY "NAPA VALLEY" CABERNET SAUVIGNON
"Deep ruby in color. The nose is intensely aromatic with focused black cherry, red berry, hints of baking spices and earthy loam. The palate is refined and penetrating with firm, slightly dusty tannins. Dark brambly fruit and crushed rocks are further layered with notes of sweet vanilla, anise and red cherry."
