2018 ANTHEM MOUNT VEEDER NAPA VALLEY CABERNET SAUVIGNON

Structured, with grip and length, this wine is ripe and rich in style with tremendous tannins. Chalky in texture, it provides layers of cassis, vanilla and clove, with the mountain appellation’s signature earthiness and herbal underrates. This will do well to cellar; enjoy best from 2028–2038.”

95 Points ‘Cellar Selection’

Richly fruity, with a deep well of boysenberry, fig and blackberry compote notes that won’t quit, pumping along while licorice, fruitcake and ganache notes fill in. This has a roasted apple wood frame and a late tug of cast iron, which keep it all grounded. Best from 2024 through 2036…” 94 Points

2019 MT. BRAVE MT. VEEDER MERLOT

Aromas of violets and blackberries with some black olives follow through to a full-bodied palate with finesse, polish and great length. Velvety tannins. Incredible finish. Great class here. Drinkable now, but better to hold for about five or six years.”
98 Points

2019 GOLDENEYE GOWAN CREEK VINEYARD ANDERSON VALLEY PINOT NOIR

An impressive vintage bolsters this wine’s already stellar reputation. Following scents of nutmeg, cardamom, and watermelon rind, the earthy liquid spreads across the palate, anchored by animale, plum, heather, wet soil, and gingerbread. Cinnamon takes shape on the mid-palate with candied yam, iron, and rhubarb. Exotic and profound.”
97 Points
“A dried-floral nose with notes of coffee, ripe strawberry and sage. Medium-to full-bodied with a cool profile of redcurrants and ripe raspberries. Silky tannins. A pleasant lavender note, too. Really well layered and complex with balance and precision. Drink or hold.”
95 Points
This sleek and subtle wine offers great balance, classic aromas and flavors and a good sense of structure that will help it improve over time. Concentrated but restrained red and black cherries, black currants, mint and light oak spices give it plenty to savor, and should develop even more from 2025.”

NV PALMER & CO. SOLERA CHAMPAGNE ROSÉ

“With aromas of red berries, spring flowers, pastry, smoke and strawberry/raspberry hints, the Rosé Solera from Palmer & Co has a dynamic palate with a fine bead of bubbles energising its vinous, almost full-bodied texture. Dosage: 8g/L. Reserve wines: 35%. 8% red wine in solera (a system of fractional blending).”
93 Points
“This wine gains its color from a solera of pinot noir, representing eight percent of the blend; reserve wines account for another third. The pale pink color implies the wine’s delicacy, but not its layers of complexity. It layers notes of ginger, strawberries and roses over red currants, lasting on a savory, lacy intensity. Ready to enjoy.”
93 Points
“A new cuvée from Palmer & Co is the NV Brut Rosé Solera, a lovely effort that includes some 8% Pinot Noir from a perpetual reserve. Pale in hue, it wafts from the glass with attractive and already complex aromas of fresh bread, red berries, spices, dried citrus peel and orange. On the palate, it’s medium to full-bodied, with a nicely concentrated core of fruit, racy acids and a fine mousse, concluding with a saline finish.”
92 Points

2019 LIQUID FARM FOUR SANTA RITA HILLS CHARDONNAY

The 2019 Chardonnay Four is stunning, with a detailed, singular perfume of baked apples and preserved lemon with touches of curry spice and graphite. The full-bodied palate is satiny and textural, combining nutty, honeyed fruits, tangy acidity and stony mineral character, and it finishes with tremendous length. What an incredible expression!”

The 2019 Chardonnay Four is translucent, nuanced and wonderfully expressive wine that captures all of the raciness that makes the Liquid Farms Chardonnays so immensely appealing.  The Four is a blend of Rita’s Crown, La Rinconada, Spear and Bentrock, a pretty remarkable collection of sites by any measure. Tangerine oil, mint, butter, hazelnut and lightly honeyed accents build into a creamy, resonant finish.” 95 Points

2021 SHARED NOTES LES LECONS DES MAITRES SAUVIGNON BLANC BLEND

“Possessing a striking and radiant light green hue, the 2021 Les leçons des maîtres harkens back to the legendary cuvées of these famed varietals born from the rocky soils of Bordeaux. Beautifully pure notes of lemon oil, lime zest, and Ruby grapefruit set the pace, as heady aromas of white peach and crushed rock bring up the rear. This classic blend of 80% Sauvignon Blanc and 20% Semillon creates a wine of two distinct parts, yet harmonizes into one seamless experience. Bracing acidity cuts a razor sharp edge though a supple, textured roundness brought on by the addition of Semillon and 100% new French oak aging. This simply stunning blend will continue to age gracefully for as long as the temptation of removing the cork can be resisted.” ~ Made by Jeff Pisoni & Bibiana González Rave
